Act of kindness

I remember one example. When I paid for my registration to the English course at CELE. UNAM students pay one peso, so the girl behind me only had one hundred pesos and the cashier didn't accept her payment so I gave her one peso to her registration. I felt so great because I could help an other human being. Maybe in this country it doesn't happen often because the Mexican culture teaches us that the only one person is important in this world, is oneself, and this is the biggest mistake in the world.

Other vision...

This was a video conference about others ways to learn a second language. The speaker proposed a change of database in our minds when we learn other language because each language have a different vision of the world. With this video I could change the way of my attitude about to learn english. Is not only a new words, is other world!

Superpower

This day we studied the second conditional with a funny activity. I had to imagine what would happen if I could read the others persons mind. Before of this class I had some doubts about the differences between the conditionals type. I learned this topic very easy but I need to keep practicing.

Reported Speech

In this class, I lerned the structure and gramatical form of reported speech. I think this topic is very important because in our day by day is common talk about other persons and what they say. Particularly to me, this theme was something new and the verbs conjugations the most difficult.

Cultural shock

This activity was very interesant because I don't think a lot about the difference between my culture and an another. Talk with my classmates about their experiences was very funny and I could known them a little more. About the writing exercise I learned the difference between "which" and "that". We use the first when we want add more information about the subject, and we use "that" when we want limit the information only a topic what we talking about.

My learning styles

This exercise was awsome. I like it because I can see my learning styles. According to the first scale I am a person who is active and reflective in the same time, this is a good balance because I think before acting. This is true, that's me!. According to second scale I am a sensitive person totally . That's true! I love learning facts, solving problems by well-established methods and dislike complications and surprises. I'm a problem solver!. According to third scale I'm a visual person who learn best what I see, I agree with this because I consider myself very visual. According to the last scale I'm more sequential that global learner, that's correct because I see the world in linear steps, with each step following logically from the previous one and y tend to follow logical stepwise paths in finding solutions. In conclusion, this test certainly reflect my learning styles, even a lot of my personality. I love it!
